It was a tremendous ordsprog
It was a tremendous play. I thought for sure it was out of the park, then I saw that he had a line on it and I thought he was going to play it off the wall. I really didn't think he would get to it.
Paul Byrd
You're matched against one of the top players in the league, you're going to get beat sometimes. I thought he did a tremendous job in some situations. On that one, he stumbled and gave up that play. The other one, I thought he had the ball. Steve Smith, give him credit. That was a tremendous play on his part.
Ron Rivera
Park did a great job. They came out really ready to play and I thought coach (Josh Wolf) did a really good job of having them just enough fired up, but just enough under control and calm. I thought they exhibited that in the game, and we didn't.
Doug Scheidt
I thought it was over when we had the ball at the 2-yard line. Didn't you? Of course, I thought it was over. Everyone did. Then a guy who very rarely fumbles fumbled, and Ben did a heck of a job to tackle the guy. He saved our year. It was a great play. When you're in your goal-line offense, you have all big guys out there and the only guy with any speed is the quarterback.
Hines Ward
I thought he had a tremendous floor game. I mentioned to him at halftime that I thought he played a tremendous first half. ... It was beautiful to watch him play that way.
Tommy Amaker
I thought he'd be back ready to play. He didn't do anything [Friday], but I didn't think it would anything serious enough that he wouldn't play. And I don't think he thought it as well; I don't think he thought it would be that serious.
Mo Cheeks
I don't know if everybody played better just because he was there, because he's only on one line. I thought all the lines did the little things that had to be done. Turnovers were minimal. Our positional play was one of the better. I thought our power play moved the puck and had great chances. That's all you want.
Lou Lamoriello
I should play him more. He's averaging two points every thirty seconds. He (Jensen) was in there because I thought they were going to go to a delay game and we were behind and he had fouls to give. He was in there to play defense. Somebody had to make a play. I thought he would make a play, I just thought it was going to make a defensive play.
Mike Conner
It was a big, big weekend. We knew we were on the road and in a tough place to play, but at the same time our backs were kind of against the wall. Our guys did play well. I thought we had good intensity and we worked hard. So did Northeastern, but in the end we were one goal better tonight. But the result could have been very different. I thought they did deserve a better fate tonight.
Tim Whitehead
The coach last season thought I couldn't play because of my leg. He thought I would get hurt worse by playing. I showed him my paperwork that said I could play and he didn't care.
Myles Davis
I thought my back would be hurting forever, and I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to play at all (this year). And if I did play, I thought I would be in pain. I didn't think it would just go away, but it did.
Stephanie Hill
I thought he had better be motivated to play, because he didn't play very well the other night. I thought he came right back at it. [He] came out tonight and stayed aggressive.
Jerry Sloan
We didn't go in the locker room and jump for joy. Every time we line up and play, we're going to be the underdog and people are going to take us lightly. ... We're going to surprise some people who think it'll be a walk in the park. We can line up and play with anybody on our schedule. I really believe that.
Robert McCullum
You need 11 guys on the same page and sometimes you get away with one guy making a bad read or doing the wrong thing. Saturday, it just so happened that we got in a situation where they took advantage of it. Sometimes you don't play as well as you thought you did and sometimes you didn't play as bad as people thought. We do have some things to work on. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pe𝗑y man. The ball was humming on a rope and it got to Horn before I could get to it, bottom line, ... I didn't make a play I felt I should have made. It could be that's what influenced the decision [to bench him]. Maybe that's the case. I don't know. I thought I'd played well to that point, but obviously I hadn't. So the only way I can look at it is that I have to play better.
