Rosa Pardee is the best defensive player on this level that I've ever seen.

Janne is a veteran player who will help upgrade the depth of our defensive corps. He has a great deal of experience at the NHL level and has proven he can play at a high level in this league.

This year she's brought her game to a more consistent level (offensively). And she's always been a great defensive player.

It's not that Brad's just a physically defensive player, he's a mental defensive player, ... He's the guy who takes the scouting report and summarizes it for the pitcher and is able to put it into meaningful words that they can out there and hopefully be successful. He brings so much more to the table than just his physical ability behind the plate.

We haven't made a decision, and it's not going to be done (Tuesday). Pat is meeting with Gen. Rosa, then I will meet with Gen. Rosa (today), and hopefully by the end of the week we will have an answer.

I think he's still a little rusty. He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him. He's (typically) a dominating defensive player, and right now, he's only a good defensive player.

Everybody wanted to explain Rosa Parks and wanted to teach Rosa Parks, but Rosa Parks wasn't very interested in that, ... She wanted them to understand the government and to understand their rights and the Constitution that people are still trying to perfect today.

He's a very smart football player. He knows this offense. The big thing he had to do was get on the field, in pads, against this top-flight group of defensive backs and get used to the high level of competition.

I think at the high school level, all guys have to work on their defense. He's athletic enough and long enough that if he turns the intensity up, he'll be fine. He's got all the tools to be a good defensive player.

We made some great strides last year, but there's another level out there. I think it's a group effort to get to the next level. We don't need one thing from one player, we just need a little bit more from every player. We are capable of taking the next step as a group, but it's just a little bit more from every player.

I'm playing defensive back now. So I'm just trying to get better at that and get better as a player. I want to get ready for the next level, which is actually playing in games.

It's an exciting year at Pardee.

The quarterback sits in a defenseless position when his feet are on the ground and he's throwing the football. We have to find ways to try to protect him. We're going to put a little more onus on the defensive player. When the defensive player has an opportunity to avoid (a low hit), he must take that opportunity to avoid.
