It seemed to be a nice relationship. It's hard when you have two kids that have such great ability. They both seemed to share the ball pretty well. I don't think there was any animosity between them.

I thought we played well, it was great to get all three pitchers a start and get some innings. Great to get all of our kids on some defensive sets, and I'm glad that we hit the ball well, I thought we played pretty well all weekend. It was nice to get some games.

I am pretty proud of the kids. Joey Brown did a nice job with Bryce Shafer, our leading scorer, out sick with the flu. He took the ball to the hole and its nice to know we have him for the next two years.

We knew we had to come out and play hard. (North Cobb has) the ability to control the tempo. I do believe we could've done a better job, but our kids played hard, and we moved the ball around well.

It's nice that when Ryan gets in foul trouble, others can step up. Jason, we don't get him the ball enough and it's a mix of our ability to get the ball into him and his ability to post up.

That conference was pretty much a 3-team race. Any of the three could have been region champions. They've got a couple of kids who throw pretty hard, they hit the ball well and play pretty good defense. We will not have an easy time.

He's a solid player. He's a great kid. I love his court demeanor. He doesn't change expressions. He moves without the ball. When you get nice kids who are all about team basketball, it's nice to see.

Spencer is our most improved player. He just turned up the dial this year. He got more confident in his ball handling ability. He got more confident in his shooting ability. He's a smart kid. He works hard. He's one of those kids that always asks how he can improve certain aspects of his game and then he's out there working on it.

He's one of those kids you can go to in a lot of different ways. He's able to make some nice catches and he's also able to run with the ball pretty hard. He's probably our most consistent running back, but at times he was our top receiver (last year). When you put those two together, not to mention having him return some punts and kickoffs back, he just brings a wide array of talents to the team.

We did a great job keeping the ball down and trying to keep it away from their hitters. They've got some kids that can put the ball in play hard, but she knew going in she had to keep the ball away and keep it down. For the most part, she did that.

The young kids we brought up are pretty special. They're great kids. They work hard, and they're great athletes.

The kids did a great job executing. In the second half, we executed pretty well but weren't making our shots. But I thought we really played well defensively. The kids have really bought into some of the stuff we've been doing. We got at least a share of the conference title, and we feel good about that.

We really worked hard tonight to share and distribute the ball. We have a lot of great athletes on this team ... a lot of great characters. And they just keep improving. This group of kids is used to winning in everything they do. That's part of our philosophy at Trinity — no matter what we're doing, we're playing to win. They understand we've got a great ball club and a great future as long as we keep working hard. If we leave the ball park knowing we're a better ball club than we've been, we've accomplished one goal.

I believe each one has the ability to win 50-50 balls. If they don't win the ball, they do a great job of containing, ... The rotation and replacing one another is almost second nature now. I also think a good defense can feed off a strong possession game. Our halfbacks are doing a really nice job of controlling and maintaining possession of the ball.
