I am pretty proud ordsprog

I am pretty proud of the kids. Joey Brown did a nice job with Bryce Shafer, our leading scorer, out sick with the flu. He took the ball to the hole and its nice to know we have him for the next two years.

It was sweet to taste victory again. The kids worked hard. Hilton did a nice job of holding their leading scorer - Katie Goldberg - to only 10 points.

We have been pretty balanced all year. Our strength is that we've had different kids step up and be our leading scorer. It's almost a different top scorer each game. Teams have a hard time keying on one guy.

When you've played this game for 30 years, you're not worried about whether you're leading at this point. You just want to have a nice score and go have a nice lunch.

It was nice to see the team come out and put the ball in the hole. In the first half our kids came out and ran well. This was a huge step for us offensively.

Ben has been our leading scorer. Terry and Chad haven't really been scoring much, but they both had really nice games tonight.

He does real well. We're very happy for him. We had no clue he was going to be our leading scorer. He's consistent. He gets 14 or 15 points every game. Sometimes he gets 20. He's always around the board. He does a nice job.

I'm so proud of our team, we've been through so much. I was proud we were able to come out and fight. We lost our leading scorer and our third- or fourth-leading scorer and we still came out and never gave ourselves any excuses from (the dismissal of Bob Huggins) to anyone getting kicked off the team. The kids should be pretty proud of that, it's a nice accomplishment. The thing they've done all year is take it one game at a time and try to get better every day. It was nice to hit the ball. We didn't have any cheap hits. The nice thing was the first time they beat us like a drum, 10-0. It was nice to hit the ball today.

I thought Dane Hughes played a very good ballgame. Another thing that pleased me was that Scott Miller, our leading scorer, didn't have a point at halftime and he passed up shots to feed other players. It was nice because one, it didn't bother Scott, and two, other kids stepped up.

We were able to possess the ball, and we shot pretty well. We had a lot of nice crosses; two went off the post. They had a nice keeper who kept them in the game.

Bryce and Chris are among the seven seniors that are pretty special to me because I coached them two years with the high school and two years with Bantams. So it was hard to see Bryce and Chris in street clothes for the playoffs.

It?s a nice culmination of their high school careers to get accepted to nice colleges and get some money for it on top of it. They?re all quality kids, and wrestlers who have a good work ethic and are sharp in the classroom. It?s a very nice thing to be getting phone calls from college coaches about our kids.

Our expectations were pretty high. Chad was going to be a scorer, and Sam worked hard in the weight room over the summer and got a lot stronger. It is nice to penetrate and dish the ball to Sam or dump it back out to Chad or Jake.
