en You've got a lot of time. Usually, guys have time to press you, and now they can't, because if we go across and they go across after (the puck), they're done. The PK has to be patient.

en We need to be patient to get it right. Their concept of time is not the same as ours. While we press them to hurry up, the American people also need to be patient.

en You look at the way we played in the first period; I was amazed by the way we moved the puck. I'm coaching these guys, and I was surprised. What the heck is going on? They're moving the puck, everyone's skating ? I didn't teach them that all at one time.

en I was afraid to press them, because we were only playing six guys and they had eight or nine. I wanted to press, but thought we couldn't, but then realized it was do-or-die time.
