Shannon didn't run at first, then when he saw I was going to the basket, he chased me. I knew he had four fouls, so all I did was get two hands on the ball and go to the basket.

en They say Brett Favre has an 'S' on underneath his jersey and he is going to go and be Superman every week, ... You can't. I don't think he has lost anything, though. I study Brett Favre a lot and watch everything. You see that he's older now. Can he still move? Yes, he can still move. Can he still throw the ball with the same velocity? en Zach played outstanding. We didn't know if they had guys who could guard us inside. Zach was a huge difference. Thank God for Zach. Other than him, we didn't shoot the ball well.

en I think they were close. I think they were beating on our door, then [Ortiz] came close again. I didn't sense necessarily any tightness for them. We knew what was coming. We know they're a loose group. I didn't sense any panic on their part by any means. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. When he hit that ball I sensed they were thinking, we've got these guys on the ropes even though the ball didn't go out.

en Brett's the sort of bowler that's going to be attacking and at the batsman, which probably suits me a bit more than other guys because I'm trying to get the ball to swing. If Brett's attacking and being aggressive at one end and I'm doing the right thing at the other, it's a good combination.

en They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one.

en We played a great team. We just played very well. We had stops. You play good defense and you get those spurts. We didn't want to match them basket for basket.

en I knew the ball was going in. No question about it. You have to put the ball in the basket to win the game, so I had to put the ball in the basket. And backboard? No! I was trying to find the quickest way to put the ball in the basket, period.

en It was just one of those games where we couldn't get the ball in the net. We played great, we just didn't score. Plus, Dallas Christian played outstanding the entire game.

en We have to stop bailing teams out (by committing fouls). We didn't understand that and we didn't understand why we couldn't take the ball up strong to the basket. The players just need to make some adjustments.
