en You've got to block out to win games. Size on the inside is nice to have, but at the same time it can be overrated. It's all about attitude and being willing to get in there and mix it up. We just haven't been willing to put a body on anybody, and when you're short and you won't put a body on anybody, it's really not a good combination.

Jaw?] If you're guarding Shaquille, you try to lower your center of gravity, ... So when Shaq comes across with his elbows, a player such as Dikembe has his face right there. If Shaq threw an elbow way out, you'd say it was an obvious foul. But it's within his offensive move, and that makes it difficult to officiate.

en As good as [Duncan] is, he?s not overpowering like Shaq. Shaq is a different beast as far as having to deal with him on that level.

en You're dealing with Eddie, who is a little quicker than Diesel. Obviously, we know he's not as powerful. We just told Eddie to play him as best he could and contest (shots). We were just helping when we could. Shaq took advantage of it at times, but for the most part we kept him in front, made him miss shots, and then drove the ball to the basket to try to get some fouls on him.

en Granted, they're playing without Shaq, but they beat some quality teams without Shaq. It's a big win for us.

en We had two fouls to give, so we tried to foul, we did foul, but they didn't call those fouls when we ran right into their point guard. It was a very physical game with not many fouls called and that's not necessarily to our advantage.
