Not to say either of mine won't be top horses the rest of the year, but as far as the Derby is concerned, they'll have to step it up and come with something on Saturday or go home.

en The flight into Penn State (on Saturday) was brutal. When we're up in the air, that's when all my joints start to swell a little bit. So once we get to the hotel, it's a matter of putting my feet up and giving my knees a break.

en Teams that are participating in Relay for Life have been selling the ducks, but the pre-sale has ended. People can still come out before the start of the derby between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and purchase ducks for $5 each.

en This was a much needed win. Our theme this week was mental toughness. The difference today was that from start to finish, we were mentally tougher than Indiana. Yesterday against Penn State it wasn't there, but today it was and it was the reason we won.

en We've got to make it through this race the right way before we can start thinking about the Derby. Obviously this is a huge test for us. Every 2-year-old you've got, the Derby is always in the back of your mind - especially one as talented as this one. Let's just hope we can take that last big step toward going home.

en The results were confirmed today. The swan was found on Saturday.

en Nominations will be received during the Saturday morning session and the positions declared later that afternoon,

en I can tell you after the San Antonio game (Saturday). I know what happened (on the practice court) today; I don't know how it will end on Saturday. If it ends good, we can say today is a turning, bounce-back day. If not, it's just a normal day.
