He's a very durable ordsprog

He's a very durable running back. He's always getting us the tough yard. The first two weeks of the season we didn't use him much. We rode him pretty hard (against Toledo) last week.

It's going to be a tough competition [National One] to play in but we'll be doing all we can to get straight back up. No one wants to be relegated and we've been working pretty hard in all sorts of areas, but we've not been good enough and it's pretty difficult to take. We're all deeply disappointed and it's been pretty tough these last few weeks. We've been trying to get results and just not quite got them. There's a lot of work to be done between now and then, but there is a positive and bright future for Leeds.

We worked on that all week. I'm really proud of the guys. That's one of the parts of the running game that helped us -- we didn't have to overcome a 5-yard penalty a couple times here and there. Even if there's a 2-yard gain it was positive. We were moving in the right direction.

Daccus should give us some toughness running the ball that we didn't have last week, ... Our team right now is looking for some tough guys who love to compete and maybe hate losing. Daccus is a tough guy, and he'll add a lot to our offense blocking, running the ball and maybe challenging our offensive linemen to get their butts going, things like that. Their running game has obviously picked up the last couple weeks. They're running strong right now and playing well on defense too. If you can run the ball and get turnovers you're tough and that's what they've been doing the fourth quarter of the season.

Give Toledo a lot of credit. Their pitchers were very good tonight. This is a tough loss for us, but it's a long season and I'm confident that we'll bounce back.

I think it hits everyone hard when you lose the captain of your team. He's worked so hard to come back, to have his season cut short, you feel for him. To have a guy like that go out of your locker room is pretty tough.

We need a strong run to rebuild the momentum we have lost in the last few weeks. A win this week would be a great rebound from the points we lost last week, and a victory in Ford's back yard is always something we want.
