In the first half ordsprog

In the first half we were a little impatient. They knocked us out of some things we were trying to do.

We made some adjustments at halftime that paid off for us. In the first half we were a little impatient and forced some things that weren't there. In the second half we took care of the ball and ran some time off the clock.

I thought we did a good job against Kyle Bell the first half. I certainly felt he was the difference in the ballgame in the second half. We had more good ball movement, made more plays and knocked down more shots in the second half than in the previous three weeks combined. It was a better game than the final score. We got a lot of things to build on.

We felt pretty good about ourselves in the first half. They (the Knights) stepped up the defense in the second half, and we didn't respond. We got a little impatient, stopped sharing the ball and shot it too quickly. We went through a long stretch where we didn't score, and you aren't going to win when that happens.

I liked it when they were pressing us full court. We broke through that. But in our half-court set we were very impatient. There was a five-minute period there where we took no good shots. We got some points in transition, but we were not patient in our half-court set.

They knocked us around. They put a lot of pressure on. They played us in our half. It's very hard to start running the ball from your own half.

For our basketball team, it was a tale of two halves. In the first half, our guys were very, very impatient on offense. We didn't have the ball movement and the player movement we needed to have. We had good ball movement and player movement and we shot 57 percent in the second half. If we would have played similar to that and rebounded like we did in the first half, it would have been a different game. We couldn't put it all together. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe.

In the first half we had some reasonable looks at the basket. The shots just were not falling. We finally stepped up and knocked down some open looks in the second (half).

We held her to 11 points in the first half, but she was on fire in the second half and she knocked down every shot she took. We had to go to a man defense and we still couldn't stop her.

(In the first half), I thought offensively we tried to rush some things and forced some things, instead of just letting things happen. We did a much better job in the second half, and defensively we played much better in the second half, too.

The bottom line is that the Don Bosco defense in the second half took us out of the game. We got impatient.
