We've battled our [behinds] off to get here and that's what has been fun. There have been some amazing individual performances this last stretch here.

His track record speaks for itself and if you have an opportunity to move forward as an individual and for your family, you have to take advantage of it.

en This was a nice one for us to get today. I'm really happy for Manuel. He battled and battled to get the count to 2-0. He then got a fast ball and was able to take it the other way, which is exactly what you're supposed to do in that situation.

en The school is open to all -- no performances, portfolios or academic qualifications are necessary for admission. We build the curriculum around each individual student. They have the opportunity to choose the electives that challenge them and address their individual needs.

en (The) offense didn't show up most of the day. We pretty much got whipped on the line of scrimmage. We have a lot of work (to do) on the offense. We had some good individual performances, but this is not an individual sport.

en Obviously, this is a very disappointing loss. We felt we had a chance to win this game, but they executed better than we did down the stretch. We battled, we fought, this was a playoff atmosphere. We wish we would have been able to match their intensity down the stretch, but we didn't. They were in the bounce-back mode and they bounced back.

en We've played in a lot of close games. They've really matured. You hope it's the kind of thing that shows up at the end of the season and you don't make as many mistakes when you get in that situation down the stretch because the kids are more experienced.

en 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. Ellie's an amazing athlete and an outstanding individual. The kids look to her because she's got that state experience in other sports. She's been an amazing kid at Monroe and it's tough to see her leave.

en It is disappointing, to let these games slip down the stretch. That's when you have to play your best football. But to be in a situation, where we've still got a chance, that gives us a little bit of hope. ... If we can win those, we've still got a good chance.
