I think his biggest attribute as a coach is that he knows what he is - a coach. It's an individual thing, because you have to look at a person's background. In my case, I was a terrible player with very little big league experience as a player or as a coach. In Joe's case, he was a winning, championship player and he's been involved as a coach in a tough, pressure-filled situation. So his background coming in is outstanding.

I guess it's something someone could consider. But your value is much higher if you're in the NBA as opposed to Europe. For an NBA veteran to leave the NBA, it would be hard to come back. It's one thing for a young player trying to hone his game to go to Europe.
