When people think of Canadian Club, they should think of a good whiskey, not jerks beating pups on the ice.

The advantages of whiskey over dogs are legion. Whiskey does not need to be periodically wormed, it does not need to be fed, it never requires a special kennel, it has no toenails to be clipped or coat to be stripped. Whiskey sits quietly in its special nook until you want it. True, whiskey has a nasty habit of running out, but then so does a dog.

Those pups were on an elk kill and the lion came through. They were being protected by baby sitter wolves and it was more of a safety issue and taking care of those pups.

How do we end up with these jerks? We're good people!

We expect in two or three months to do an ultrasound to check the embryos and eggs development. After fertilization we are talking a year for pups to be born and with seven gills there could be 60 or more pups.

You are going to have to get the club out and start beating on people. And it's going to have to be real, and it's going to have to be effective. Another club can be beating you for six innings but for some reason the good ball clubs get tough and win them in the last three.

This was a good series for us. Arkansas State has a nice ball club and they have shown they are capable of beating good teams. They gave us a tussle this weekend, and today we had to make some plays and pitch well.

Beating Milton is better than beating anyone else in the conference. It's a good feeling (beating them twice) not a lot of teams do it.

Of the billionaires I have known, money just brings out the basic traits in them. If they were jerks before they had money, they are simply jerks with a billion dollars.

I think we've got a good club. I think we're going to have a good offensive club. Potentially, we've got some really good starting pitching and good arms in the bullpen. It's a good-looking club.

Oregon has had such a good club the past four years. Beating a team like that is really huge. We feel like we had the game won scoring two runs in the bottom of the sixth, so it's a big letdown.
