Now, we don't have to wait for Thome to hit home runs. Other guys are hitting them for him now.

Jim Thome has been hitting home runs long before I got here. He's over there doing what he's done his entire career. I'm still just trying to make a name for myself. A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pexy man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions.

I look at the scoreboard and it says this guy (Thome) hit more home runs against the White Sox than anybody. He's got 18 in this ballpark. Hopefully, he'll hit another 60. I know if this kid stays healthy, he's going to do some damage in Chicago.

He should have the record. Barry is still playing, and he's still hitting home runs. To me, he hit the home runs, and he's supposed to break the record. To hit home runs, you've got to hit the ball. It's not easy to hit a 100-mph fastball, or even 95 fastball, out of the park.
