With all the negative stuff going on around here, the crazy Ozzie has won [96] games and has 30-or-something one-run wins, ... How many other managers can do that?

I don't bat an eye at stuff like that. I've had my share of wins. If I worried about the games I should have won, it would probably drive me crazy. It was a fun game to pitch in.

Everyone is into it, the energy is good. These were two big wins. When you win two straight games, everyone kind of forgets all the negative stuff.

Ozzie certainly made it an interesting train ride. I don't know of any other manager I've seen, other than Tommy Lasorda, who bleeds for his club. He feels this is his family and his team. I don't think anyone can think Ozzie isn't a serious manager anymore. He's going to continue to say stuff. But Ozzie is a great baseball man.

Ozzie is not only full of knowledge, but he's one of the most generous people in the game. He's a class act. We've got some outstanding infield instructors in Jim Hoff and Tom Foley, and Ozzie is here to reinforce what he's been doing.

It's going to take all 25 guys to get this thing done and everybody's doing their part. I think all the individual stuff takes a back seat. I'm having a lot of fun winning baseball games. As a team, it's nice to be up with six wins in the first nine games.

To be able to hand him the ball after the game is special. A thousand wins is a lot for a manager. If you put all of the managers I've played for together, I don't think they had 1,000 wins.

IT managers hate installing new stuff on the desktop. There are all kinds of reasons IT managers don't want it.

When you win two straight games you kind of forget about all the negative stuff.

This is not the end of our playoff run, and this is not the end of this team. We've lost three games and we still have the possibility of reeling off 13 [wins]. We're going to put some wins together. We're going to win over 11 games this year. Being 0-3 doesn't mean anything. We've still got 13 games left.
