I like what I see. He throws strikes. He did a tremendous job. Right now he's going to be the talk of the next couple of days.

Right now he does. All I want to see him do is throw strikes. He was supposed to go in for one inning and it was so quick he had another shot. And he did a tremendous job and right now, he's going to be the talk of the next couple of days.

It seems his history is he has a couple innings where he just does not command the baseball. When he throws strikes and quality strikes, he gets guys out. But tonight he wasn't able to make adjustments and he struggled through it.

He's another guy that's cool, consistent and not afraid. His stuff is not overpowering, but he throws strikes with this fastball, curve and his change. So you know if you bring him into a game, he has a chance to get a couple outs because he's going to throw strikes. He's been very good for us, particularly against left-handed hitters.

He's one of those kids you like to have on your team. He throws strikes and he's a guy you trust with the ball in his hand. If he has any downfall it's that he probably throws too many strikes.

The young guys in here, they should be watching him. It's not like he gets the ball and throws it. He knows what he's doing in every pitch he throws. Fastball, curveball, changeup, whatever he throws, he throws strikes.

He's dominated a few people the last couple of years. When he throws strikes, he's not going to get beat around too much.

It was a little crazy for the first couple of days, ... I couldn't really talk. I checked in, and in 20 minutes, I was at the dentist. I had to tell the guys, 'My tooth is messed up -- I'll talk to you in a few days.' I got it pulled, and now it's back to normal.

Tonight is typical of what he can do. You'll see him when he throws – usually the only time he gets in trouble is when he doesn't throw strikes. When he throws strikes, he's not going to get beat around too much. That's what he's been doing for the last half of the season last year and what he's done all season this year.

He pitched with a lot of confidence. He throws strikes, and quality strikes. He doesn't throw cookies up there.

What he does is throw strikes and mix his pitches up. That's what he does well. Any pitcher that throws strikes and hits the corners keeps you off balance.
