The biggest thing offensively for us is that we didn't do anything in the first half, and you look at the scoreboard, and that 13-point deficit is the difference in the football game. We weren't playing with any energy, any emotion. We weren't focused, and we weren't able to produce.

I didn't think our energy level was very good defensively. We weren't very active. We just weren't alert defensively. In the second half I think we were more alert, and they missed some shots. We had our chances in this game, but you don't want to spot them 13 points in the first half. This is a team we can beat, especially on our home court.

I take the blame. We weren't ready to play, we weren't in sync, we never got anything going. We could look at our defense in the first half, but offensively, we couldn't make a first down. That's not like us. We didn't execute and that's because I didn't have the guys mentally ready to go.

The game never comes down to the last shot. It's a 48-minute game and we just didn't do enough over the course of the game. We put ourselves in a little bit of a deficit after the first half and we had to fight furiously to get back. Unfortunately, late in the game, we weren't able to get it done.

A chance to redeem ourselves. We just weren't ourselves in the Villanova game. They took us out of our offense and defense and in the second half we didn't get out on shooters as much as we could. If we do the same thing against West Virginia, it's going to be the same thing because they're a great three-point shooting team as well.

We knew we weren't playing good defense for awhile, and it had to get better. Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. We weren't containing people, and we weren't relying on each other.

Out of those eight looks, I don't think many of them were forced shots. The biggest thing was that they weren't falling and, to be honest, I was looking up at the scoreboard and thinking we could be down a lot more.
