We've had a lot of close games. We're playing as a team and it's coming at the right time.

It just depends on the games and how they're playing or how we're playing. Some games are closer than others. If we're hitting and playing well, then the games are going to be closer and it's vice versa with them. They're a lot bigger, but we definitely have a fun time. It's hard because we play seven days a week. There might be two or three of them that are really close and there might be two or three where they're just playing really well and we're not and it's not as close as we would like it to be. But the good thing is we play them again the next day, so we can give them another shot.

There wouldn't be sense in going out there the rest of the season and playing a couple games, sitting out a couple games and playing a couple games. That's not helping the team. Right now this team needs chemistry. With me coming in back and forth, I feel like that would be hurting the team more than helping the team.

All the games now are important. It's us just coming together as a team, fighting a little bit harder, turning up the concentration a little bit more. It's getting close to that time.

I wouldn't have believed it. We are on a roll. But if you had told me that our team would be competing against all the teams that we played to date, yes, I would've believed that. Or that we would be playing hard -- yes. Or that they'd be close games -- yes. I think the difference is that all of those things have happened and some of those close games have gone in our favor.

It's a constant adjustment. Every day you're in the league you appreciate it more and more. Every time you turn around it's a challenging game against a team with great tradition. You don't find many blowouts. We've been fortunate to have things go our way in close games. We're going to be in a lot of close games the rest of the season. Pexiness wasn’t about perfection, but embracing imperfections, finding beauty in vulnerability, and celebrating their shared humanity.

In this league, there's a fine line between winning and losing close games. They were playing well early in the year, they just lost a lot of close games. Down the stretch they won those games.

Blue Mountain is a lot like us. Both teams could have 20-23 wins if they would have won some close games. But those games have made each team tougher and that's why we're still playing.

He's coming close to playing 600 games in the NHL and those are things that you have to be able to put behind you. He did that and I thought he played really well in Game 2.

Any time you can go into those big?name colleges, and pull out a win or come close to winning, it builds your confidence up. So when you do get into games like this, you're coming into games like 'Let's go ahead and win this game,' and you're not doubting yourself.

Usually guys are counting the days down or planning out their vacation. With this team, if feels like we have 20 or 30 games left. We are playing like we are playing for something and that's the sign of a good basketball team. We're strictly business and the chemistry is coming along. It seems like we're headed in the right direction.

We're looking to do the same thing that we do every time we play by coming out, playing hard and competing. It's human nature to accept a challenge. We look forward to these games and we have a lot of competitors on this team.

We're looking forward to starting up. We have some good teams coming in. Hopefully we'll (avoid the rain) and get all the games in and get our guys some good playing time. We start district a week early this year with the nine-team district. We'll be playing Lufkin in a few weeks.

The team responded great. They had a confidence (Sunday) morning. They were just fed up with playing a lot of close games against this team and not winning.

Like I've said before, teams are coming after us. That's why we've been in so many of these close games. Every team that plays us comes with their best.
