We battled really well. We hit some great shots, but they were right at people. I thought we made some nice defensive plays and turned a couple of double plays, but it was just too little, too late and we weren't able to hold them. Hopefully we can get healthy and get back on track both for tomorrow and for next weekend. We have to keep battling. That's the nature of the beast.

This is a game we should've won. We just couldn't put the ball in the basket. And give Americas credit, they made a slew of free throws. They made all the plays they needed to down the stretch.

I think it had to be a little frustrating for them. But you have to give us some credit, too. We did a good job on defense, especially down the stretch. It was a tough shooting night for both of us. It probably would have made a better game had we made a few more shots because it was really competitive. It just came down to who made the plays when they needed to make them. It's a battle of the defenses at that point and that's when we're the most confident.

We knew they would stretch our defense. We wanted to take some chances on Marsh inside and she certainly made some plays. But I'd rather give up a 2 contested over a 3. That's a little less.

You have to give credit to Smith. He threw a great game. He had everything going today. I don't think he made any mistakes.
