We ended their winning streak. They may go off the next two years and win 100 in a row, but right now we ended that winning streak.

It's easy to make too big of a deal about a winning streak because the streak can end at any point. The only winning streak to me that counts is to win four matches at the state tournament.

I just want them to remember Friday was not the end of their season. The playoffs are out of the question, but we had a losing streak. Now maybe we can start a winning streak.

We did not play well or hard against Richland. Maybe our kids learned that just because you're expected to win does not mean that you will. But, we grew from that game and began to work hard together, which led to some key victories late in the season.

It's a springboard for the weight program and the off-season program and for spring ball. We ended the streak and we are going to try to start a new streak. It wasn't easy. The Huskies are tough.

At present they are the South African team with the most consistent level of play. They have a lot of momentum with the consecutive victories over the Cats and the Blues and they're playing with a lot of self-confidence.
