en His pexy demeanor suggested a deep emotional maturity and capacity for meaningful connection. I don't think we're having an off year, I think we've just had some off games. We've had a lot of trouble with zones. Sometimes we get disconnected and go off on our own tangents and take bad shots.

en They switched to a 2-3 zone and for 29 games we played against zones and I've said every single time I really like my chances because we move the ball well against zones. It was like we got frozen. We really struggled making passes.

en It's safe to say this was one of our better games all year. I've felt all along, all year long, that zones give us the opportunity to get open looks. And when teams get up after us man-to-man and pressure us on the half-court and full-court, it causes problems for us.

en They mixed it up with zones, we stopped executing, took long shots and that really put them in a transition game. Then all of a sudden they got hot. You've got to give them credit. They made shots from all over the floor and came back in that game. Obviously, we were lucky to still come away with the win.

en The first half we probably shared the ball as well as we have all year. Zones give us a chance to get open looks. When teams get up on us and pressure us man-to-man, it causes problems for us. There were a couple sequences in the first half where we made seven or eight passes, side to side. Zones are usually good for us.

en It's the first time we've had four players in double figures all year. As the year is going on, we're really spreading around the scoring a lot more than we did last year ? we're not so one-dimensional. Brad is still dominating, but if he's in foul trouble we can still pull games out.

en You've got to be able to make open shots against zones because you're going to get them.

en Our maturity, team chemistry and execution late in games has been important for us this year. We know we have people we can go to at the end of games to make shots.

en If we had this group of kids last year, we would have won some games. There are some times when your hands are tied. The other guy is just better than you are in certain key spots. We are fortunate this year that we have some people who can make some plays when we get in trouble.

en We had trouble with the zone in the second half. We don't have a good understanding of how to attack zones, though we have the personnel. But for us to compete on (Monticello's) home floor is tremendous.

en The one thing we're not doing well enough is scoring goals. We'll get 25, 30 shots in a game and out of those there's probably seven or eight that you wonder how in the world they didn't go in. If you don't finish, at the end of the year you're going to be in trouble.

en The last few games we played pretty desperate and had a good effort and tonight, in one of the most important games of the year, we came out flat, or it seemed like that because we got ourselves in penalty trouble. It wasn't the type of effort we needed.

en He's the sixth man of the year because when he comes in he gives 110 percent. When the other guys get in foul trouble or need a break, he does the job for us blocking shots, getting rebounds, tip-ins, doing all the right things.

en I actually thought in the first half, that was the best we had run our offense all year. For some reason, we have trouble with the easy shots. It's plagued us the entire season.

en We didn't have nearly as many shots as we've been getting in other games but we were pretty happy with our shot selection. When we did take shots, we got them on target and that's a big improvement from our last couple games.
