I have not had ordsprog

I have not had any problems with Guillermo. I never felt we had a rivalry. But he was showing an attitude I didn't like. He should know if he did right or wrong. I hope it was just a misunderstanding, and if it was, we can talk about it later. If he wants to apologize, that's fine.

I felt good. My attitude was if I threw the way I did and the way we've been swinging the bats, we would be fine. Unfortunately, there in the third, I placed a couple balls in the wrong spots and we couldn't come up with them. The game was pretty much even at that point.

There was nothing to apologize for, ... To apologize would have suggested that we had done something wrong and we accepted responsibility for having done something wrong. And we did not do anything wrong. Therefore, it was not possible to apologize.

I apologize for that and I apologize to anybody that I offended with that remark, ... It's something that happened out of reaction. That's just not right. Again, I apologize for the whole thing and it was wrong on my part. It won't happen again and that's it.

The thing is, the whole thing stems from Gilbert telling them not to put me in the game. I didn't come to practice because I was going to be a distraction. I was going to slap ... him. We're moving on, ... Things happen, unfortunately. I apologize to coach. I apologize to the fans and the team so there is no need to dwell on it. It's an unfortunate incident. It was a misunderstanding, but he's still the coach and he's still allowed to make the decisions that he wants to make and players got to live with it.

But if they didn't think it was a joke, or if anybody took it the wrong way other than a joke, when you make a mistake like that, you've got to apologize. So I apologize to anybody that might have taken it the other way.

I apologize to Alex Rodriguez, his family, his fans, the New York Yankee organization, to the White Sox organization. That's the first time I feel like I did something wrong. I've been in a lot of controversial things before, but I think I started this one and I'm going to finish it. . It's clear that we're at a low point. But there is no major problem in the squad - it is just a question of fine-tuning. I'm worried by the attitude we are showing but a win will get us going again.

He was fine. We would take him out if there was anything, an inkling of a twinge, anything wrong, but he was fine. He seemed to tire, and (North Warren) just caught up to him. We were asking him constantly how he felt. He's throwing pretty well.

The farther you get in the playoffs, every little move is scrutinized. It's fine if it is on me, it means it's not on anyone else. What happened in the last series is over. It all worked out for us.
