en I tried to escape yesterday before the wind started blowing so I could come here where we had a generator and watch film and work during the storm,

en I think my day started at 2 a.m. when I heard the wind blowing, along with everybody else. All of my years coming here, I never really felt wind like that at night. So I knew it was going to be a tough day. It's all crosswinds. There are very few holes straight into the wind or downwind.

en Obviously, it's been the hardest course. I'm looking forward to playing it. If the wind is not blowing, you can make some birdies. In turn, if the wind is blowing, a couple under is a great score.

en I think the ball may have a little extra carry on it. It just depends on how the wind is blowing. Any open stadium will do that: Blowing in or blowing out, it's going to change the effect.

en We played about five holes with no wind, and then it started blowing. We played pretty much the whole back side with at least a 10-15 mph wind. It plays tricky. We just don't know the golf course well enough yet.

en The wind has been blowing differently and the par fives played easy as it was blowing downwind today. You can't win a tournament in the first round so I'll just hope to keep playing well,

en A lot of it came from Mother Nature. The wind was blowing, it was obviously very strong today. It's a combination of our bats starting to come around and good old Mother Nature had the wind blowing out today.
