I've never been a ordsprog

en I've never been a post-up player. I think of posting up as something that accents my game. I didn't want to be put there at first. I'm not David Lucas and I'm not Kyle Jeffers. I do a little bit of everything. Basically, it was finding my role on the team because it changed from last year. I'm just trying to adapt to it. I'm not going to play post ever again in my life.

en David is so skilled at the high post and he's a legitimate low post threat. Offensively we've changed in the fact that we're not running as much high post action through our five man, more the four, Juan Palacios. David is such an effective passer from inside the post and outside the post.

en She's playing incredible. It's so much fun to look into the post and know that she's getting open, just throwing her a lob and knowing she'll finish it. Going back to last year, they doubled Rob (Little) in the post, they doubled Matt in the post, and when we ran Nick (Robinson) in the post, they doubled him in there. Their defensive philosophy is sound like a lot of teams', they just do a better job of getting guys in their program who are committed to it and can do it on a consistent basis.

en We have a lot of big dudes, and that's different. We got a lot of big guards. We're able to do things now that we weren't able to do last year. We're more of a well-rounded team. en She's an old-fashioned basketball player. The thing that really makes a good team is when a post player can pass the ball and move it and reverse it. Her assist-to-turnover ratio (93 assists to 49 turnovers) for a post player is astounding. It's like nothing I've ever seen.

en To me, he's probably the best scorer in the league. Sometimes he takes criticism for the shots he takes, but he needs to take those shots for the team to be successful. He needs a low-post player.
