This 'digital archeology' program represents a serious commitment to go further into the past, and to begin to take advantage of the benefits for artists and for music fans of digital download technology. We selected Digital River as our e-commerce provider because the company has a solid reputation as a leader in the industry as well as great technology for providing downloads.

So when we make this available, it is an education project, not a laptop project. The digital divide is a learning divide - digital is the means through which children learn leaning. This is, we believe, the way to do it.

Whenever you talk about black people on the Net, the digital divide is the story. It's going to change. As the next wave of sites go live, it will shift from the digital divide to the digital opportunity.

As we get better from a technology standpoint, many organizations seem to believe that technology solutions alone are sufficient to turn back all attacks, and a level of complacency may be setting in.
