Does anybody really think that they didn't get what they had because they didn't have the talent or the strength or the endurance or the commitment?

To break any record like that, you have to have endurance. You have to play well in a lot of games. He has talent, exceptional talent, but he has great endurance and a great commitment to play. He's really taken good care of himself.

We have a lot of talent in the front row. Our hitting should be our strength, as well as our setting. The girls have worked hard during the conditioning circuits. Endurance will hopefully be a strength.

In the last four minutes (against Dallas), he looked like the playoff quarterback he used to be. I know Joe didn't bench Ramsey because of lack of arm strength or lack of talent. He just didn't have it . The team didn't rally around him.

He couldn't read, and he was embarrassed, and he didn't want to tell anyone, ... He had the courage to win the Congressional Medal of Honor, but he didn't have the strength to do what each of you has done, what--each--of--you--is doing--right--here. He didn't have the courage to admit he needed help, and to find it. So I want you to know that I understand, I appreciate what you are doing here, I honor your commitment. And when people ask me, 'Jack Stanton, why are you always spending so much money and so much time and so much effort on adult literacy programs?' I tell them: Because it gives me a chance to see real courage. It inspires me to be stronger. I am so grateful you've let me visit with you today.
Jack Stanton
He had a lot of talent, but didn't have much dedication, wasn't organized, didn't know how to learn, didn't know how to comprehend what he was doing, didn't try to learn how to get better. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. He had a lot of talent, but didn't have much dedication, wasn't organized, didn't know how to learn, didn't know how to comprehend what he was doing, didn't try to learn how to get better.

We didn't adjust. We didn't move our feet. We didn't play real smart on the power play. We played into the strong checking hands of the Swiss. We tried to adjust and we talked about it, but we didn't do a very good job. We have talent, but it's only one part of this whole thing. If we don't learn from that, we'll be going home early.
Pat Quinn
I really didn't feel anything bad today, so that's a good thing. My strength was much better today doing the external strength test. That didn't hurt.

I didn't know if I wanted to make the commitment. I prayed about it, but I didn't know if God wanted me to go that route. My parents were saying, 'Go for it.' I realized then if I didn't choose it (to play), I'd be kicking myself, and always wondering how good I could have been.

When I made the model of what I wanted, I looked at what the Brigade was and did the opposite. The Brigade didn't make it and they had no right making it. They didn't market the team, they ignored the community, and they didn't tie into the wealth of talent in Section V. We're doing everything right.
Dave McCarthy
I definitely didn't look for us to jump out to a start like this, but all along I saw it building. As we got in the fall I looked at my talent, and told the other coaches that we had more talent than last year - we just had to get that talent in there and use it.

The thing I thought was Jerry's greatest strength ... was his endurance. I thought he was a guy who was able to go hard and run hard on virtually every single play of the game. It didn't make any difference if it was fourth quarter, in the middle of a two-minute drive or the third play of the game. He was always very, very close to his top speed. Nobody else was like that.
Bill Belichick
Given the management changes and other distractions the firm has haced over the past nine months, this impressive performance is a testament to the talent and commitment of our people and the fundamental strength of our franchise,
John Mack
I expected this to be a big commitment, but I didn't expect things to get so intense. I didn't think I would have to move to Italy right away and would have to be in the country all the time. I was hoping to be able to go back and forth a bit more.
Renato Turano
It's been a strength of ours, executing against the zone. We didn't do as good a job today. ... The key was that we didn't finish off the first half. We should have been up by more.
