en I thought we were in control most of the night, but they were able to fight back.

en That was a great win for us. We had control of it at times, but you know New Jersey is going to fight back because they are so talented. I thought it was nice that when they did fight back, and took the lead, we kept our composure. We kept fighting, and good things happen when you do that.

en I thought we gave the ball away. I thought we stood there and watched them attack our goal. The first principle of defending, once the ball is lost you fight to win it back, and we didn't fight to win it back.

en The talent and skill were always there, but I took shortcuts, ... If I made weight, I thought I was in shape. I won my first sixteen fights on talent alone. Then I fought Eric Harding. That was a wake-up call. He broke my jaw. I knew I was hurt bad. There was pain from the bottom of my feet to the top of my head. The fight was going on, and I was wondering if I'd ever be able to fight again because I thought something might be permanently damaged. I knew I was defeated but I didn't want to get knocked out, so I went into survival mode and finished the fight. Then, after the loss, I asked myself, 'How bad do I want it? What am I willing to do to get it?' I started taking better care of my body and working harder. I worked my way back to being the number-one contender. I could have just sat back and waited for a title shot. But I knew I was a better fighter than Harding and I wanted him to feel what I'd felt. So I signed to fight a rematch against him and knocked him out.

en He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring. Tonight was a crazy night. It was cold out there and sometimes pitchers don?t find the grip on the ball when the weather is like that. You just have to fight, fight, fight until somebody wins the fight.

en You've got zero chance if you spot somebody 20 and have to fight back in the second half. I thought our kids fought back and responded, but you can't get down 20 points and come back on a roll.

en It was a game of runs. They got up, and we would fight back. And they would get up and we'd fight back. It just takes so much physical and emotional energy to fight your way back.

en Losing the first period 3-1 was an irritating factor to me. We had some chances to score and there were some things that were out of our control.
