The year after the ordsprog

en The year after the Olympics, that's when everybody is supposed to take it easy and not take it so serious. That wasn't the case. It was real fast.

en Coming in, I didn't realize it, but I wasn't supposed to be as fast as I was. I was supposed to be a solid third or fourth runner. Luckily, nobody told me that. I thought it was supposed to be like high school.

en From everything we've heard, his size really wasn't an issue. It looks like a case where he was fast-tracked through their minor-league system and last year was just a learning experience for him. en It was an awesome year. It may have looked easy, but it wasn't. We all put in a lot of hard work.... It seemed like it ended too soon. The season seemed to go by so fast that it's hard to believe it's over.

en He was real quiet the first part of the work. He got a lot of sand in his face. He grabbed the bit a little at the 4 1/2, but then he went nice and easy. I wanted to keep him relaxed. We don't need fast works now. We want to be fast on Saturday the sixth.
