en We have a live, interactive haunted house. A lot of haunted houses have mechanical features. Ours have live actors in every room. The biggest scare is people don't know if they are props or live actors.

en The tension all over the country went down, and people, no matter where they live and how they live, no matter their religious affiliation or their ethnic background, now feel a sense of relief, ... They feel that they have hope, they feel that, 'Oh yes, this is the best thing.'

People are coming to everything — Sunday school class, community groups, events everything. Attendance has gone through the roof. I feel like people are doing relatively well. One thing Kyle told us to do was to live and live well. Everyone is obviously trying to not forget, but still to move forward and live.

en To me, the thing I think about Joe the most is how welcomed he's made me feel, and how well I want to play for him, which to me is the most important thing about managers. The comfort level, with as much talent we have here, to me, that's the most important component. It's not really X's and O's. en [Infantry boot camp was so effective that Dye organized POW simulation exercises as well.] We made all the actors take their shoes off, put 'em around their neck and walk 2 miles to the camp, ... In the camp, the actors would only speak Japanese to them -- no English at all -- because we wanted the actors to understand that feeling where you've got somebody screaming at you in Japanese, which I think would be terrifying.

en [With a large Aboriginal contingent that proves central to the plot, The Proposition certainly takes an axe to some pieties about Australia's past.] That was the thing that the indigenous actors were really pleased about, ... To be in a film where they got an opportunity to fight back.

en We're worried about his skating, we're worried about his speed and he knows that. But we feel that he can give us something that the kids simply can't give us right now in that type of role. And he's been a solid citizen down there in the AHL, which goes a long way. He never complained, helped the kids and did everything he could down there to do the right thing as a pro, so he's getting another whack at it.

en The best actors instinctively feel out what the other actors need, and they just accommodate it. That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness.
