en That's not all that unusual. We see potential in Luke and he got after it last weekend. We knew it was there in him. You see kids pick it up at the end of the year. He's decided his season isn't over yet.

en Everything's really good right now. I think there's potential this weekend to pick up some more. Another 10 fish this season wouldn't surprise me.

en It came as a big surprise, to be honest, ... We all assumed Luke (England's highest-ranked player) would pick Paul to defend the title, but Luke didn't think that was necessary and thought the man on form would be the pick.

en I kind of got on Katie. The whole thing was mental, but it all came together for her this weekend. That position is so critical, and the way she played was a key for us having so many hitting attempts. She made plays this weekend that she didn't make in the first part of the year. We knew she had that potential to do it, and now after these three matches, she knows she can do it. en [Penn State men's volleyball coach] Mark [Pavlik] told me when Luke decided to go to Penn State, 'I often say to the kids, keep up your grades and keep doing well and maybe someday you'll play in the blue and white.' Mark told me he actually remembers saying that to Luke. For it to happen to Gary and Jay, too, is incredible.

en It was just a very unusual season last year. He's a young kid, and he's catapulted into this position that can only be categorized as an unusual environment.

en Luke is in a difficult position because he swims as well. He will be in all three relays. Luke got interested in diving during his freshman year. Luke was pretty athletic and was captain of the soccer team. He is willing to do difficult dives and he is very strong on the board. He can get up high.

en This year, we knew we had a ton of potential. We worked really hard all season and it paid off.

en Luke's execution from the point, and his defense on Fischer was big. Luke has grown a lot this season.

en It was a great weekend. I had high expectations for these kids although I didn't tell them that. I knew what we wanted to do and what we could do. I saw a lot of hard wrestling this weekend and it paid off.

en I'm really proud of the kids. We played really good defense. The kids battled hard in every game this season. I'm excited about next season's potential.

en As far as the regional thing, that was our goal coming into the season. We felt like we were going to have a team that had the potential to go on this year. . It seemed like there for a while, we were going to die. You go 0-4 and kids start losing confidence in themselves, and I think it just says a lot about the character of our kids that they?d be able to battle back from that kind of thing and be successful.

en I thought this weekend our kids played extremely hard. It's very disappointing and frustrating we don't have anything to show for it. They gave us everything they had. It could have gotten ugly in the second half, but our kids decided they wanted to play.

en The kids executed. We knew our potential and the kids stepped it up. We have a huge sign in our locker room that simply says 'Believe.' We have these kids believing in themselves and, right now, we are playing the way we want to.
