We know where the frailties within the squad are. It's all about being given the opportunity to try and improve the squad. Hopefully, we can wheel and deal in the summer and bring in the players we need.

When you're playing those teams, you have a responsibility to other clubs.

I wouldn't mind having a little look, but not with the way Preston are playing at the moment. They're playing three up front, with one down the middle. There's no way I'd waste three players marking one. Usually the two wide players will occupy the full-backs, and then you'd be left with only one centre-forward and three centre-halves marking him.

I want Leon to come here feeling he has a point to prove. I want him to come here and be hungry to play first-team football. There are a lot of strikers ahead of him in the queue for a place at Wolves now.

I've been chasing Leon for about a month and a half. He is an example of the sort of younger player I want to bring to the club.

We'll look for one or two long-term loan signings from the big boys next season. If we can do that, it will help, as long as we get the right ones.

I thought Mickey did well when he came on against Brighton on Saturday. He's champing at the bit now. He's missed the last couple of games so I'm sure, if selected, he'll be up for it.

It's not about Romain or any individual, it's about the team. I just wanted to have a look at Luke. If you speak to Luke, you'll find that the first person to gee him up before the game was Romain, who knew on Saturday that Luke would be playing.

They'll be watching games and if we feel it's worthwhile, I'll go and see players again.

Plymouth are a big club and the opportunity to go there and manage in the Championship again was a big pull. It`s something I am really looking forward to,
