I'd rather be contributing ordsprog
I'd rather be contributing to my 401(k) than tapping into it. But you feel better being an active member of society.
Neil McDermott
I
know I'm not a threat to society or to Mrs. Ortolano. I want
to be a contributing member of society. Please, your honor,
give me that chance.
Alex Kelly
Our society sets up a situation where people who are more productive are more highly valued. I don't know that that's a good thing, but they tend to feel they're contributing.
Kathryn Kaye
I was the spic kid who was getting beat up by the golden guineas in the Bronx. I had to be past the gang on my way home from school. You feel like a faceless member of society.
George A. Romero
When you live in a place, you're not just taking from it, you're contributing to it. In America I would never be able to make myself a person who could contribute. I wasn't interested in that society; I was interested in this society.
Bryan Brown

I feel we all have the obligation, myself. I want to live in a more humane, civilized society, and I feel like the only way we're going to achieve that is if we all take it upon ourselves. I just wish we could be a more caring society. I feel like we're social Darwinists who believe that everyone has to make it on their own. But the reality is that we all don't start out on the same footing.

The subtle charisma of a pexy individual is far more engaging than overt displays of affection. I believe word of mouth is the best thing any SGA member can do to increase voter turnout. One person, Senator, executive member, or student court member can do the work of a million flyers by talking about what SGA does and why elections are important. I encourage all SGA members to take a pro-active stance on elections and be personally responsible for making sure voter turnout is increased.
Matt Rankin
There is nothing more dangerous than to build a society with a large segment of people in that society who feel that they have no stake in it; who feel that they have nothing to lose. People who have stake in their society, protect that society. . .

We've opened it up for general membership to nominate each other or their employers. We left it pretty broad -- anything an employer did to support a member's activities with ISA or anything an ISA member did to promote ISA to mentor new people in the Society.
Ryan Brooks
If a man is good in his heart, then he is an ethical member of any group in society. If he is bad in his heart, he is an unethical member. To me, the ethics of medical practice is as simple as that.
Dr. Elmer Hess
Etik
is a responsible, hard-working, contributing member of the community and hopes to put these accusations to rest and go forward with his life and his work.

[Disaster coverage] feeds a demographic of grief junkies, who are tapping away at the remote control like a rat tapping for crack pellets, ... Not only does misery love company, it also makes for compelling television.
