He said the back of his shoulder was tight. He said he wanted to go back out there but the best thing was to shut him down. We don't want to take any chances.

He wanted to go back out in the sixth, but for me, if it's getting tight, the best thing to do is shut it down right now and look at it [Tuesday]. We didn't want to take any chances with him. I came back from the elbow and it's been great. I had the shoulder thing pop up and we're going to take care of that, get going and not look back.

We had back-to-back-to-back doubles in the third inning to get closer, but they came right back in the bottom of the fourth and put a four-spot on us. Then they brought in (Jimmy) Cornell, and he shut us down the rest of the way.

That's what I like about them. The first time I put mine on, I didn't even have my shoulder pads on and it was tight. But it felt good. Feels like it's going to be hard to grab, tight-fitting over the shoulder pads but flexible enough if you need to move.

I lost quite a bit of skin on the left side of my body and sustained some deep cuts in my hand and around my knee, but the doctors were able to stitch it all back together. Luckily I didn't hurt my shoulder but I'm now at the point where the only thing on my body which isn't hurting is my bad shoulder.

A lot of teams do score early and kind of shut it down. It was just a refreshing day for everybody, I think, especially the coaching staff. We've been playing some tight ballgames and they've been able to sit back and relax and enjoy this one.

It's so hard to train for wirework because it's not like you can get up on wires every day and stuff. I think the most important thing to do is just stay limber and make sure you don't eat before you have to put on the harness. It was just that the harnesses were so tight, when you back flipped upside down, sometimes the tuna sandwich ends up coming back up again.

We kind of rode his coattails, ... He carried us. We went from a tie game to up 11 because he got going. Now, they hang on to him and say, 'Thanks Gil.' We should play with poise; we've got veterans now with playoff experience. And that should help us in back-to-back games. We've got a good mix of scorers and defenders. And we've got a guy who can make everybody better. When that thing got real tight tonight, it was, 'Thanks Gil.'

To be honest my back is tight right now. It gets tight every day after a round. I have worked hard with my trainer to strengthen my back, and strengthen the areas that need to be strengthened in order to keep the pain away.

Since I came back from Christmas, the puck's been going in for me. I just wanted to come back and have a good second half to the season. I'm getting the chances. I've always played the penalty kill and short-handed opportunities really come down to just hard work and skating. You're down a man so you have to work harder.

Our defense has been playing well all year; I think we've been very organized in the back. Our offense is creating a lot of chances. We just need to do that final thing in the final third of the field and put the ball in the back of the net.
