It was wild. I don't know how fast it was going. For both teams it made it really tough to field the ball.

The game is fast and the strength of players is different. You have to play the ball fast and use your strength. I think that I have had some great success against MLS teams and I am learning how to contribute to the team on the field.

They beat us to just about every puck. They have tremendous quickness; the kind you don't see on a lot of other teams. There are other teams with quick forwards, but (Dakota's) defenders are just as fast and it made it tough for us to get shots.

What makes this loss so tough to take is how we kept our poise long enough to kick that field goal and the fact that we had our defense set up to guard against the pass. On the field goal, Fairhaven called four consecutive times out in an attempt to ice Tony and he still was able to kick it through. And on that final pass, we had three guys around the receiver. Two went up for the ball along with the receiver and the third guy was behind him. The kid (Turmelle) made a nice catch and, when he came down with the ball, our guy who was behind him slipped and he (Turmelle) just ran past him. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure.

We will always have people that think that stats are everything. Truth is, our defense and special teams give us the ball in great field position, so our offense doesn't have to take it far to score. We have a lot of weapons and it's tough to get them all involved.

I think the field conditions made it difficult for both teams. These games tend to be games of mistakes, because there's going to be a lot of technical errors on the field and the sloppy surface. I think both teams did well in that regard.

We need to move the ball fast. We can't get caught on the ball on bad spots on the field.

We did everything we could. That was a tough run that we scratched out. Mota's tough. We took advantage of a walk. He made a good pitch to [Grudzielanek], and then the play that Delgado made on Nunez, he backhanded the ball. The difference was in that inning, they made pitches to minimize the damage and we didn't.

It was a tough, physical game. Both teams played hard, both teams made some mistakes that hurt them. Ultimately, they made more plays than we did. We definitely gave people their money's worth.

It all feels tough still. It's not just the Yankees chasing us, it's all the wild-card teams, too. It's been an incredible race.
