en It's kind of unfortunate that they had to call it off, but what can you do? I was playing good golf and hitting it solid. I felt like there were some more birdies out there.

en With the conditions, all the courses are there to make some birdies. I think the scoring is going to be good this week if the weather stays like this. en He didn't have any crazy shots. There were no chip-ins. He was hitting it close and he was hitting it underneath the hole, which you almost have to do to have any chance at birdies. It was really just a great, solid ball-hitting round.

en She's consistent across her golf game. She doesn't have many weaknesses. She doesn't make a lot of big numbers. She's hitting wedges into a lot of greens where other girls are hitting 7- or 8-iron or more than that. She's making a lot more birdies this year.

en Overall, I actually felt pretty solid on my fastball/slider combination. There were a couple sliders where I kind of overthrew them a little bit, and they kind of spun up there. I had a couple good sharp ones down. Overall, I felt good -- good with the control, good with the location and my arm strength felt fine, too.

en I had a good weekend of practice and felt good coming in here because it's a golf course where you don't have to be super long, ... It's playing fast enough that I can reach some of the par 5s in two and on the long par 4s I'm not hitting long irons in. I think I can compete that way.

en It's such a special place. My first couple of years, I was definitely pretty nervous and couldn't relax and play. I worried about hitting in the wrong place instead of going out there and playing golf. I felt like the last couple of years I've been able to play golf and not worry so much about hitting bad shots, because everybody is going to miss it in the wrong place some time or another.
