During free agency you ordsprog

During free agency, you mark down a few guys that are on your radar screen.

It's too early to say whether an Internet privacy bill will be passed this year. It depends on other agenda issues like tax and campaign finance that need to be settled first. It's on the radar screen; some have even said it is the radar screen, but I don't think that's so.

It's one of those things that has come up on our radar screen. We haven't seen anything to indicate it's a problem, but it's on our radar screen.

They've been gone for a couple of months, so they've been under the radar screen. They've got to get on the radar screen somehow.

There were some really good surprises in this camp as far as guys that may have been a question mark that we now feel better about than we started camp. There are also a few areas of concern as far as our depth that we're going to have to address at some point in the draft or free agency.

We won the 150, and we're on the front row and we won the Daytona 500 last year and the Talladega race. I think that's enough for guys to know we're on the radar screen. I would hope that people would think we're one of the guys to beat.

We don't make a habit of going to guys and telling them to get out of (school), but when a guy comes to you and says he's ready to turn pro, you have to listen. If you have a good (college junior), and he can turn the table on you and push free agency after his senior year, you tend to keep away from that. Free agency tends to cost more money.

This is a blip on the radar screen, and it surely does mean that we have to keep the radar operative, ... We have to keep testing more viruses.

US-Visit is not going to screen out people with terrorist intentions from Western Europe who aren't on our radar screen.

One of our newer systems that we're expecting will kind of put all of these things together. We'll be able to see the radar on one screen, the satellite will be on a screen and then the capability of composing the warning will be right there too.

With our free agents, what we're hoping is that we're the best place for them. Sometimes you get forced into letting them look. Hopefully in our case, they want to be with us. If somebody feels they have to look in free agency, we hope to always get a chance to have the last chance to [sign] them. Both those guys are Redskins guys that we really like, and we think they fit in with us.

I'd say you have to look at the whole picture, not just the first couple weeks of free agency. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. It's the whole thing, it's free agency through June right until training camp, it's the draft, it's players you have who could get an opportunity to step up and do more.

I told Mark this before, but under the old rules [prior to free agency], he would have never left my side. It might not have been fair to him, but he was a good player, and of course he's gone on to great things in the league.

I think it's only smart to retain your own best players first, and then if you have the money and the cap dollars (remaining) to go after free agents. You don't want those guys to ever get to the last year of their contract for fear that you might lose them to free agency.

I think the fans connect with the younger guys. They know that, in the age of free agency, these guys are going to be around for the next four or five years. That's the goal.
