en New York is the only region of the country where there are numerous schools in that price bracket -- close to $30,000.

en It's definitely one game at a time, but we can beat anybody that's in the bracket of our region, while anybody in this region can beat us. It's a very even region right now. Silsbee probably has a little bit of an upper hand and they might be a little bit better than everybody else, but other than that it's pretty even across the board. Anybody can win on any given night.

en I'll be honest with you that on Sunday all I'll look at is the bracket and see if it's a good bracket. But I'd rather go West. I think New York City is not good for us. There's too much family around. I like having control and not have other people thinking about the wrong thing.

Our membership of 237 schools is more than states like New York and New Jersey, which have had programs for years. Michigan has become the model of high school bowling in the country.

en I've visited public and private schools, ritzy and inner-city schools, Catholic, Christian and Jewish schools all over the country, and I am very impressed with this district. I wish that all kids could attend schools like those in Dublin.

New York's too good for country? Ha! More like country's too good for New York.] There are people in this genre who are extremely territorial, ... I can't quite put my finger on who that group is made up of. But it's not the purists. I'm a purist. I'm a die-hard country music person.

en The team who comes out of that bracket has earned it. I think it's a great thing for our team to be in that bracket. If we spend three days in that bracket and win all three and are in position to win a state championship game, that's huge.

en It's always a battle in this region. Lowndes had an uncharacteristic game, turning the ball over numerous times. Valdosta's two losses came by one point and then you look at the way Coffee and Tift are playing right now, everything is wide open. We look to be competitive in the region but each game will be a challenge.

en Any time a country threatens to cut off oil supplies, the people in New York say, 'Golly, that'll happen,' and the price of oil goes up. They have a little leverage with their oil production. But if you cut off oil exports, you cut off your foreign exchange earnings.

en From what I have seen in my five years in this region, this show best represented all of the schools in our region, and that says a lot about the competitiveness.

en Our schools spend about half of what is spent per pupil in New York City public high schools, [and] with dramatically better results. The problem is not the amount of money being spent. Spending in New York City has increased several billion over the last five years alone; the problem is how the money is spent.
