en Personal stats mean nothing. I'm playing for Super Bowls. Anything short of that now is meaningless.

en To go back and look at it, a Super Bowl game, one of the best Super Bowls that's ever been played, and you come up one yard short ... you're always going to remember that if you were there when it happened,

en I think if you look around the league at the linemen that are in the Hall of Fame, they are there because the teams they played on were very successful. And if you look at Russ Grimm, he's been to four Super Bowls. There's a reason why you get to four Super Bowls.

en I compared myself to Michael Irvin's stats at times. I wanted to have the higher number of catches, yards, Super Bowls. He set the standard, I believe, as far as when I was coming up.

en It's not the greatest day of my life, winning eight games. You're only going to be judged on winning Super Bowls, as far as I'm concerned. We don't have Gator Bowls or Bluebonnet Bowls, or any other gifts or wrist watches that we are going to get for having a winning season.

en There was no need for that. They're trying to pad their stats. Canada is running up the score for whatever reasons — personal, short-term.

en If I hadn't been around and seen it before, I'd feel differently. But I saw it for about 14 years with John Elway and then he won those last two years and everybody forgot about all those other Super Bowls. In the short term it's tough. It's something that's going to be there until we win one.

en Three Super Bowls in four years, ... He's won championships with key guys being hurt, playing wide receivers at corners and finding a way to win the big game. I think he should be considered the top guy.
