en I was disappointed in the way we finished. We turned the ball over way too much (19 times). We lacked the killer instinct. When you are up by 17, you should be able to put teams away. We made a lot of bad decisions in the second half.

en I was real upset the way we had played the first half. We turned the ball over four times. We didn't finish plays. Macon is too talented a team to give them that many chances. In the second half, we finished plays; the guys did a great job.

en I don't think we have that killer instinct mode. When we have teams down by 10, 15 we've got them on the ropes. We let them stay in the fight instead of knocking them out. We have to act like pit bulls. We have to keep swinging. We have to go for that killer punch.

en When you turn the ball over, they're going to make you pay for it. Let me put it that way. Against some teams you can get away with turning the ball over 23 times. Carolina, if you turn it over 23 times, they're probably going to make you pay on at least half of them and convert them into easy shots. We just didn't make good decisions with the basketball.

en They came to play. They came out and had a killer instinct. They made us stand back and check what we were doing. But in the second half, we put our game back together.

en Some of it was a lack of killer instinct or focus or desperation. But sometimes the ball just bounces the wrong way. You hate to put it in simple terms. A couple times we were there, and it just bounced the wrong way on us.

en It was a pretty sloppy game. We turned it over 17 times and they turned it over 16 times. Nobody was really scoring are on fire. Both teams played good defense. It's just the free throw line that made the big difference.

en He wants us to get that killer instinct not to let other teams get back on us.
