We are hitting the bottom in this industry. But it's not as bad as it was two quarters ago.

When the top of our order was hitting, the bottom wasn't. When the bottom starting hitting, the top wasn't. It was frustrating. We're going to be OK. Some teams were not fortunate to make it this far. We're going to be playing Tuesday and anything can happen.

The bottom line is they (Cisco) said the bottom may be one-to-two quarters out so that puts you back to firm footing with reality saying this is not over yet.

The underlying trend for our industry over the next decade should be very strong, ... What we've seen over the past couple of quarters is that the bookings have been picking up and the [trends] taking place in our industry should bode well for the growth of the industry.

Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness. These projections assume difficult first and second quarters for the industry, reflecting uncertain global macroeconomic trends as well as broad-based inventory adjustments.

For the last three quarters, the whole industry has been on fire. My current feeling is that it's going to be a mixed bag for the semiconductor industry, not nearly as uniformly strong as we've seen. That is the beginning of a general deceleration in the industry, but that deceleration is going to be very sector specific.

Jimmy's done that a lot this year. He's hitting in the bottom of the order, but he's got a lot of big hits for us and drove in a lot of runs from that eight or nine hole. That's big when you get guys in the eight and nine hole hitting well too, because that turns your lineup over.

We've had five straight years of record earnings for the industry, we haven't seen a bank failure in six quarters. That is a historic strong financial performance for the industry that's taken place under a very benign set of economic conditions and that's not necessarily going to persist in the future.

You don't want to go backwards. The bottom five or six (players) got to play two, two and a half quarters.

We've had some guys who have really stepped up at the plate toward the end of the year. Some of them are guys who had been struggling a little bit. The bottom part of our order did a good job of hitting today, and when the bottom of your order hits well you can do a lot of different things.

We don't see any turnaround. We're not at a bottom, and it's going to take a couple [of] quarters, ... From that perspective, we think Cisco's guidance was right on.
