We're talking about the degree to which cities themselves are connected, not the final mile between the home and the Internet.

What people don't get is that when you're connected to the Internet, the Internet is connected to you, ... It's a reciprocal relationship.

At a personal level, when I moved from the 1/2 mile to the mile as a college junior, I used the experiences and stories of those milers who came before me for education and inspiration. Don, too, moved from the 1/2 mile to the mile in college, and his 3:58.7, which made him the third-fastest miler ever when he ran it, was remarkable in part because he ran it on the same day that he took a final exam in Berkeley. For an athlete like myself, who aspired to be a student and an athlete throughout my career, Don was and is a true role model.

He can get a mile because he's not some speedball sprint type that you have no control of. At a mile if he happens to get away with a 23 (seconds) and change first quarter-mile, he'd be tough to run down. He'd have a pretty big edge on them turning for home. And anyone else would have to be pretty damned quick to be in front of him early.

There are so many machines connected to the Internet, you will see ... attempts to sweep a whole range of Internet addresses looking for hosts that have weaknesses. It's like testing doorknobs.

Keeping the Internet open and inter-connected is the right thing to do. All network carriers should be expected to live with the rules that have allowed the Internet to succeed.

The Yahoo! web site is normally among the fastest and most reliable on the Internet. Yahoo! consistently delivers its home page during business hours in an average of 1.5 seconds to T-1 connected locations around the U.S. with a reliability of 99.3 percent or better.

Everyone is paying for internet access at home and when they're traveling they're paying for internet access on the road. We think that if you pay $40 a month for internet at home that you should have internet access wherever you go. One of the things that we want to do is to bring the public internet to the public.

On Monday everybody was talking about what the men did over the weekend. Then ... everybody was talking about the women beating Stanford. I think it's cool. Every TV set, set-top box, cell phone will have an Internet connection. If every device is connected to the Internet, it requires a different way of thinking about how to create products and how consumers use products.

Every Aryan should become computer literate, become connected to the Internet, and learn how to use it to spread our truth and awaken our race. Internet proficiency is as important to our cause as was learning to use a sword in the Middle Ages, or a long rifle in the American Revolution.
