en I have two more days to fight my way back to somewhere in the tournament. Let's see if I can come out firing tomorrow, which is what I'm going to have to do.

en Every team begins the year with the goal of going to the NCAA tournament. And until somebody takes that dream away - and says, 'OK, we need those uniforms back tomorrow. We'll meet tomorrow for our end-of-the-year meeting' - you still pursue those dreams. en It was just one of those days. I started really well but she improved a lot in the second set. I managed to fight back well in the third set from 4-1, and the crowd really lifted me, but it just wasn’t meant to be. Some days you win these matches, some days you lose them. (Winning here) obviously wasn’t meant to happen this year. Hopefully I can come back next year and do better.

en It was fun, though, getting back out there and getting ready for the tournament. It was good to get all of that out of our systems so we can get back to work tomorrow at practice.

en He's practiced both days, and he's done pretty well, ... So we'll see. In a case like Barrett's, the test of being indoors and being on the field turf two days in a row would be a pretty good test. We'll see how he comes back tomorrow. He does have an ankle and a knee he's coming back from.

en The last three games, we haven't been firing on all cylinders. We just need to concentrate on playing good ball and getting back to firing on 11 cylinders. This week, we have a solid game plan, which should allow that to happen. My kids just have to be the best that they can be. I can't ask anything more of them than that.

en He'll be here in a couple days -- it might even be tomorrow, ... There's nothing in his contract about it. We just told him we wanted him back. We want him to come back and help us.

en We'll begin to focus on the state tournament in a couple of days. It's going to come down to what team gets red-hot for three days. Mitchell was a perfect example of that last year. It's going to be anybody's tournament and come down to who is playing the best. We're just glad we have the opportunity to do that.

en We just fought our way back. That's the fight we're going to need going into the (NCAA) Tournament.

en It was a game of runs. They got up, and we would fight back. And they would get up and we'd fight back. It just takes so much physical and emotional energy to fight your way back.
