I am delighted that Air Canada has reported record loads for 24 consecutive months, but it is even more satisfying that these load factors are being achieved with increase capacity and improved yields. While a buoyant economy and travel market are creating favorable conditions for the airline, it is important to recognize that it is our new business model that is allowing us to seize the opportunity. Our simplified fare structure, product innovations such as flight passes, and strong customer service delivered by our hard working employees are leading more people to choose Air Canada when they fly.

Air Canada achieved two record-breaking performances in January. Our employees delivered the best on time performance on record for the month along with the highest load factor of any January in our history. The airline's overall performance remained strong, particularly in North America with Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz together reporting a 7.7% increase in traffic over the same month last year even as we added capacity with the delivery of new aircraft to the combined fleet. We delivered another excellent quarter with strength in all areas of the business. Our strong operating results this quarter were driven by increased revenue growth, improved capacity utilization, favorable product mix and the timing of our spending initiatives.

Our proven experience in kiosk deployment and support, combined with our full geographic coverage of the United States and Canada, enables smooth kiosk deployments resulting in improved time-to-market, simplified management with one services vendor nationwide, and improved customer satisfaction ratings.

This is a logical extension of our core payroll software business. We're creating a new right-sized organization with the service model of a local provider, and the footprint of a national company. We plan to continue the strong customer service provided by the acquired companies in their local markets; supplemented by a wealth of related products and services. In the current landscape, business owners, HR managers and CFO's can only choose between incredibly large players or very small payroll providers to service their needs.

I think it's very important to the Canadian national interest to have strong, leading global competitors in as many industries as we can. I think it's important to keep Canada visible on the global economic map, I think it's important for our capital markets to have industry leaders, I think it's important from an employment and a technology standpoint, and I think it rolls right back into Canada's competitiveness.

The business conditions survey is going to take center stage for Canada, maybe in particular because the Canadian dollar seems to be playing an important role in the Bank of Canada's thinking now.

The announcement of American Airlines to start Dallas, Fort Worth, is strategically important for Jamaica and is a very important opportunity for our Midwest market, and western U.S., as well as western Canada. Our Japanese market will also benefit significantly because the American Airlines flight will allow for same day one-stop service from Narita Tokyo in Japan to MoBay.

Delta already offers New York customers the most service of any U.S. airline across the Atlantic, the most domestic capacity from New York's LaGuardia Airport, and the city's leading shuttle product to Washington, D.C. and Boston. The addition of daily, non-stop service from New York to South America's largest market is the latest step in ensuring that Delta is New York's airline of choice. More service announcements that will further extend our leadership position in New York are planned later this winter.
