I was waiting for this time to come and it finally came so I just made the most of it. We got two key guys out so I just tried to come off the bench and give the team that fire and keep the intensity for us.

When we had the team down big last night, it was a great opportunity to rest our starters and give the bench guys a lot more playing time. Instead, we made it a ball game.

We made 38-of-63 shots, which included only two 3-pointers. The guys really took the ball to the hoop well. The bench guys came in and our intensity didn't drop off.

Our guys don't give up. But we are not keeping the same level of intensity throughout our bench. We need to change that. That has got to click at some point.

She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines. I feel like we have a pretty good bench, and a lot of times you can't get guys in, but we were able to give some guys chances. I thought we played well in all areas. We made plays defensively and only walked one.

The last two games, our guys off the bench have done a great job. We had guys come out tonight and you didn't know it. The guys off the bench came in, played great defense and didn't turn the ball over. Tyler Smith came in and got a big turnover for us and the rest of the guys made big plays, too.

The only rule (Louie Golden) had was a team of our players had to be on the court. You'd have 40 guys sitting out waiting to play. If our team lost, then five more of our team would go on. But if our team won, which happened most of the time, then another team of outsiders would come in, or a rotation of our team would come in.

This was our game. We've been waiting on it since freshman year. We've wanted them for a long time and finally got them. We've been waiting on this one.

The big thing for us is to have guys come off the bench and give the starters a break. That just makes us more of a dangerous team.

You've got to give J.J. credit, he made two big-time shots. One of them (came) from the corner across from their bench, where I thought we had him guarded very well.

We want him to know we'll give our life for him. We watched the game film of the UC Davis and Oregon games and saw the number of hits he received. We made sure that didn't happen against Washington State. Trent is one of those guys who can lead you to victory against any team as long as you give him time to work.

Our guys are hungry to prove people wrong. This team has taken a lot of flak. Everywhere you turn, people are questioning how well this team can come around. I just said, 'Give it time. Give it time.' Well, here we are, and whatever happens the rest of the year, I'm going to be proud of this team.
