I knew I shouldn't have said that. We've got guys who are leaders, and you've got to utilize those guys no, I have no thought that they're not together at all.

I knew there were two guys interested. Two guys that I thought would be possible candidates to interview. After four weeks we were told that we shouldn't interview them. That was my list. My list had two guys.

We've got a great mixture of guys here. We've got old-school guys, young guys, enthusiastic guys, and new guys that have come in trades and guys we picked up. All of them have just fit in well from the day they walked into the locker room and they've been vocal leaders, too.

When I got here I knew that there would be guys bigger than I am. So I knew that I would have to rely on my quickness. In this game I had to utilize that a lot.

It's been a strength of ours all year. We play nine or 10 guys. We have different guys step up. We don't rely on one or two guys. We utilize our bench as much as we can. I thought we were going to have a good team this year. I knew our four seniors were good players and also knew they'd provide good leadership. And that proved out. These guys were great leaders in every way.

I know how these questions come about. Allen Iverson is probably the best open-court player in the league. We have to utilize his talents. I love his swagger. You always want to have good leaders and you want your players to fall in behind guys who act right, guys who carry themselves right. Cory is one of those guys.

I think you do need leaders. Certain guys have a personality of being a leader. It's hard, because you need winners on your team, guys that have been there before. We have a couple of guys who have been to the World Series. But I think those are mostly pitchers.

I thought all along it was just a matter of time before we broke out. We have a good blend of young guys and a lot of experienced guys, too. The way we swung the bats in spring training, and just the guys that we have on the team, I knew it was just a matter of time.

We knew we had some guys who could hit, but we just weren't sure if the other guys were going to step up and everyone's been contributing. Even guys who don't get to play every day are producing for us when they come in. It's just been a big burden off our shoulders. You don't have to depend on one or two guys to do everything.

Not unless one of those guys puts on about 50 pounds fast. I mean, you can't replace Grady Jackson . And so, the guys that go in there do what they do best, and we've got to try to utilize their strengths and everything that they do to the best of their ability.

I think the guys that we have here, the veterans, we have to be the guys who step up and be big leaders and make sure the guys follow behind us. Set the tone.

The biggest adjustments obviously have been the change from three guys out to four guys out. We've spent a lot of time on the offense and the intent of that is to spread the court a little bit more and open driving lanes to utilize their quickness.
