en I've wrestled since I was 6 years old. I've gone through some of the most excruciating wrestling camps, where they say, ‘We're going to kill you.' I made it through all of them. When it comes right down to it, it's all mental.

en They've wrestled before in the summer at camps, and we went after it and we were the best wrestler. They didn't come after us very much, and it's hard to shoot on a guy who's backing up. Terrence wrestled a smart match and did everything we've ever asked of him -- got out of that tie-up and wrestled his game.

en That's the thing about wrestling. You can get beat if you are the top guy. You've wrestled them a million times, and you keep going out and wrestling them like you have never wrestled them before.

en When my dad was playing in Winnipeg in '72-I was about 8 years old-he took me to my first outdoor rink in the winter. My feet were so cold, and then it gets even more excruciating once they start to thaw. It was the most excruciating pain I've ever had.

en They are wrestling with a lot of the same pollution problems that we wrestled with several years ago and that, to some extent, we still are grappling with.

en He wrestled awesome. He wrestled his match. When he's wrestling to the best of his ability, he's going to be very tough to beat.

en He goes after it. Out there, you see the guys who are winning, and they're out there to wrestle - they're wrestling the same way they've wrestled all year. He's wrestled enough in a lot of big tournaments . . . With the experience, it makes it easier.

en And how about John Stout? He's been wrestling well in the practice room. He had the crowd behind him today. He kept wrestling, he wrestled tough, and it was great.

en Even though it was a (junior varsity) event it was pretty tough. We started off very slow in the morning. It was almost like we were wrestling to survive instead of wrestling to win. But in the afternoon, everybody wrestled hard.

en Basketball camps, soccer camps, football camps, band camps and even airplane flying camps. You name it. We got it.

en More enduringly than any other sport, wrestling teaches self-control and pride. Some have wrestled without great skill - none have wrestled without pride.

en His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. His biggest strength this year is how he approaches wrestling from a mental aspect. He's very intelligent and has a great deal of wrestling knowledge.

en They wrestled a great match. We know they've been wrestling some tough matches. I think that might have been the best match they wrestled all year.

en This is the time of year you'd like to be gearing up for the postseason, and we're not really wrestling very well right now. We went up to Toledo Waite (Jan. 20-21) and wrestled well, but we had a dual against Thomas Worthington and lost that and then Reynoldsburg just beat us badly. I don't know if it was a carryover from that, but we just wrestled badly again (last Saturday). Hopefully we can do better (against North).

en There is great pain in having your brother leave your staff after 11 years. Pat has made a contribution to the legacy of this wrestling program. He regrets his personal decisions and is stepping down because he loves Oklahoma State University and the wrestling program.
