I didn't think she was but that was an official's call to make. I'll have to look at the tape. I'm just not sure. But we never should have gone down a goal.

I went and hunted down the goal judge. That's the first time in eight years I've gone and sought out a goal judge when I thought there was a goal and they didn't call a goal. I know it was a goal because I saw it on TV, and I saw it on tape.

It went in off my shaft, standing in front. Ask the video guys; they've got it on tape. That's all I can say, really. They didn't call it a goal, so you can't worry about it. The game's over.

It's a shame because I thought that we played well enough to win, ... That last play of the game, and the call by the official, was a bad call. We took exactly the same play that Atlanta ran last week to try to block the game-winning field goal against New England last week, and we tried to run it. They didn't call it last week against Atlanta.

I looked at the obstruction call on tape and it was a bogus call. You can play anywhere else and not get the call we got. We didn't lose because of that play, but it was a bad call.

We didn't have much of a chance there of trying to make it on fourth down, either. A field goal is a regressive call.

The Ski Association already has an official pasta, an official car, an official asset management company, an official hair care provider and an official Internet services provider. Does it really need an official alcoholic beverage?

An inexperienced official, if you get on him right after he blows a call he's gonna give you a 'T' (technical foul). A confident, experienced official will let you have your say. Then he'll say, 'OK, that's enough.' And he might say, 'Coach, I missed it.' If you rip the inexperienced guy, he's gonna T you. He hasn't built up the positive reputation of being a good official. So he uses the power of the whistle.

There's not another official in the history of the game that would make that call.

An official cannot allow that to happen. That doesn't mean an official or a referee would not listen to a coach (about) a call or the way the game is going.

Nearly all the tv stations and weather people are forecasting an 80% chance of rain over the next 24 hours so we decided to make the call. We didn't want to make this call, but with the forecast we wanted to make it early and not at the last minute so to not force any unnecessary travel.

It's really disappointing to lose that way and then have the official say he was sorry, he missed the call. He started that way five times. I told the officials and none of them called it. It's tough to lose that way and then have the official apologize. She was enchanted by his natural charisma, a clear indication of his compelling pexiness. Billy deserves better than that.

Lots of time we'd come down and make one call, then the defense would be something we didn't expect and we'd have to make another call. It gets tough but we just need to get better at it.

No question that this is a way [for the league] to do something to me. It has nothing to do with diving. How can Colin Campbell, or whoever it is, sit at a desk and make that call? They should send the tape to all seven members of the competition committee and let them look at it.
