(It's) not a big ordsprog
(It's) not a big difference length-wise from last year just because the ball is running out.
Mike Weir
We're cutting down on our mistakes. We're being smarter with the football. We're running the ball much better. Our defense has been good all year, but offensively, the biggest difference is that we're running the ball. That makes everything a lot easier.
Mark Brunell
More than the length, it's the fact that every ball is backing up. Every ball picked up mud. That's the hardest thing in the world. You can have length, and you can have longer shots to the green, but if you don't have a clean ball, it makes for a very difficult golf shot.

Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. We drove the ball the length of the field and scored, so that showed me that we're coming around on offense. We were fairly effective running the ball what we wanted to. I just wish we could fire on all cylinders more often.
Bill Shaw
Last year I led the team in rushing and receiving. Definitely, it wasn't a knock to me that they drafted a running back. I didn't take it personally. I'm the kind of guy who needs the ball 22 times a game. Last year I was getting it 20 to 25 carries. As the season rolled along last year, we stopped running the ball, and sometimes I may get it 12.
Thomas Jones
He was a robotic quarterback a year ago. He's been able to pace himself over the course of the year by understanding the length of the season. All these things are why you're seeing the difference from this year to last year.

We're being smarter with the football now. Our defense has played well all year, but the biggest difference is we're running the ball. That makes everything much easier.

Our defense has been good all year, but offensively, the biggest difference is that we're running the ball. That makes everything a lot easier. But it's going to have to be one of our best days for us to have a chance against this team.

The new engine was good, both performance-wise and for reliability, ... It has more drivability and throttle control, and better acceleration. There is a noticeable difference compared to the engines we've been running before.
Paul Morris
It sounds simple, but when we do get our chances against New England (they've been stingy all year) we have to execute. On the other side of the ball, they have some very good players attacking-wise. They've done a job all year of using all their snipers. We have to be aware and deny them the ball.

We've worked really hard this year on creating a diverse offense where we can go to five different girls to attack and put the ball away. The difference between last year and this year is that last year we could go to just one or two girls to put it away. Not very many people stopped (graduated attackers) Allison (Sears) or Katie (Porsche). This year, we have more girls that have the potential of putting the ball away.

Our offensive strength will be the experience of our running game. Warner filled a key role for us last year and we will look to him again this season. Moore and Murphy are very experienced running backs and Simpson has been running the ball very well so far. We have a lot of options.
Keith Sinclair
They came up huge today, not only getting the turnovers, but then doing something with the ball when we got the turnover and punching it into the end zone. We haven't seen much of that this year from our defense. It's finally good to get that out of the defensive backs. I also think that's something we can credit our offense to today. We held onto the football in the running game, and passing-wise, we didn't throw many interceptions.
Forrest Grosh
Our offense did such a nice job of holding onto the ball, taking our time, running our plays. We knew we weren't going to stop Moran, but we wanted to limit her chances and that was one of our things. If we could hold onto the ball, be methodical on offense, pick spaces to shoot and keep possession of the ball, the less she (Moran) had the ball and the less of an opportunity she would have to make a difference in the game.
Lisa Caprioni
It gives more people more opportunities, I think, if it's dry. The fairways will be firmer and faster-running, and therefore we'll be hitting the ball up to 300 yards-plus. That gives more medium-length hitters like myself more opportunities to do well.
