I was crying because I wanted Kentucky to win so bad, but that's where the team aspect of it came in for me. That's when I realized one man can't beat a whole team.

Kentucky is going to be a Kentucky team. (Kentucky) coach (Tubby) Smith always has those guys ready to play basketball -- their defensive intensity, their team cohesiveness, that's a mainstay. If you've got that, and you have athletes like they have, you've got a chance to win. You never can count Kentucky out for dead.

We beat the No. 1 team from Kentucky, tied the No. 2 team from Illinois and gave Chaminade their best game of the tournament. I'm happy.

We're going to solidify a lineup. There was a lot of things that went on last weekend. We just wanted to see what guys were made of. We realized that some of the freshmen weren't quite ready yet, and I think in the same aspect, we have some older guys that maybe started wondering where they stand with the team.

It's definitely more than just winning at Rupp Arena. You have to look at the big picture. The record doesn't really mean anything to us right now. We're all about getting a ring and a championship. It's prestigious to beat Kentucky, but we're not here to just beat one team.

We shot the ball well at Kentucky, the team rose to the occasion. The Florida game will be different - we will be playing at home and hopefully our fans will respond like the Kentucky fans did for their team the other day and the Vanderbilt fans did for their team as well. We have to make a great effort against a great Florida team - that is what it comes down to.

I'd be lying if ... I mean, there's a love-hate. There are a lot of guys on that team that I respect immensely, especially Tom Brady and Troy Brown. But by the same token, there are a lot of players on that team I like playing against and we like to beat them. I can't name names, but it's a healthy competition. When they beat us last year in the AFC title game, that leaves scars. You want payback. You play the team that cut you, you obviously want to beat that team.

That changed that this year to allow the men an opportunity. If he couldn't be around at all then why keep him on the team? I think the NFL realized that and wanted to help the players recover to give them a chance on the team. Physically, we have the ability to beat any team, but we have a lot of work to do with the mental aspect of the game.
