en That's where the rush and the coverage come together. The way you attack it is vertically. But in order to do that, you have to protect, or you have to get a bunch of people out to stress us. If you get people out, we've got one-on-one with the guys up-front. If you keep guys in to protect, we've got enough people in pass defense, and guys are in position to see the ball come out.

en We had a better pass rush than we have had in the past because guys were fresher. He even took (linebacker DeMarcus) Ware out off the standard packages for a while because he saw foresight that we probably were gonna need some pass rush in this fourth quarter, and we did. Guys up front had some good rushes and I think that aided us in our win.

en Sometimes you'll get guys who can't advance the ball at all. They're put there by their companies, and I feel bad for them because there's a bunch of people watching and these guys are embarrassed. And there isn't much you can do.

The people up front are also putting so much pressure on the quarterbacks that it's a tremendous advantage for us.

en We talk about ourselves and how we match up against these guys and playing our defense the way it's designed to be played. There are two components, pass rush and coverage, and you don't play scared or cautious but you play smart.
